How it works
Briox Time is organised into Assignments which group the various Activities you perform for your Customers.
Each activity can in turn be linked to an Item with a price so that you can invoice your clients directly from Briox.
Example:
Assignment: Design work
Which has Activities: Analysis, Production, Consultation, Research, User Tests, Travel and Expenses ...
These activities are then linked to Items with Prices which can be invoiced: the price is what you or your employees take for your time when performing these tasks for a specific customer. You can even include expenses and mileage if you wish.
If your work is somewhat recurring, we recommend you set up Assignment Templates that can be copied when setting up assignments for specifik customers. This will avoid discrepancies and save time.
Before getting started
Before you start working in Briox Time, make sure you have:
- Set up your items and price lists
- Set up your assignment templates
- Set up your customer and create their assignment
- For internal time that is not to be invoiced and is only used for payroll purposes, you can use the pre-set up Assignment: Internal Time.
