An employee is a specific user type with limited user rights and functionality available in the app.
The employee can:
- Receive their payslip in the App
- Report time and expenses in the App
- Scan expenses to the Payroll folder of Linked documents

The employee role can also be combined with other user roles, for example if a user is a start package user, managing customer invoicing, they can also be an employee with the possibility to report time and receive payslips in the app. The difference here will be that a "normal package user" will also have he possibility to scan documents to the incoming documents list.
Receiving payslips in the app
Having payslips delivered to the app is the default delivery method from Palkkaus.fi and comes at no extra cost.
When an employee is set up in Briox via the synchronisation of the employee registry or linked manually to a Briox user, they automatically get the right to receive their payslip in the app.
Note:
- If there is no link between between the user and an employee you cannot check this right.
- The language of the payslip is set on the employee in Palkkaus.fi.
Scan expenses to the Payroll folder of Linked documents
As an employee you can scan receipts and expenses to the Payroll folder of linked documents.
This folder differs from others in that only users with the right to view payroll documents can see the folder and the documents even once they are linked to a journal.
Note: Auditors can see all documents linked to journals including payroll documents.
Reporting Time in the app
Employees can report time in the Briox app.
The payroll administrator or accountant can then retrieve approved time reports, which can serve as a basis for payroll calculation, for all employees.
Time can also be invoiced to your customers.
