Retroactive salary payments

Retroactive salary payments are used in cases where salaries have already been paid to employees outside of Briox but the calculation and reporting to the income registry has not been done.

Instead of Normal salary payment, choose the option Retroactive salary payment in Palkkaus.fi to create a salary or payroll calculation with a payment date in the past.

The following happens when you pay a salary or payroll with the option retroactive salary payments:

1. The payment will land in the Briox payroll payment list with status Paid.
2. Palkkaus will automatically be notified and report this salary or payroll calculation to the income registry.

What is the difference if the salary date is in the past period or the current period?
Below is an example of a calculation carried out in mid-Februari with calculation date 15.02.

• For a retroactive salary in a past period: Januari (20.1): The reporting to the income registry is done for the previous period in February.
  
  
• For a  retroactive Salary in the same period February (7.2): The income registry reporting is done for the period in the month after (reporting to the income registry done in March: 5.03)
