If you are unsure when reconciling transaction, you can now check both the source document and the coding when reconciling invoices, journals and drafts in banking.

Preview and edit a voucher, invoice or draft before matching

The lists on the right — Vouchers, Invoices and Drafts — now include a preview icon (eye) on each row.

  • Click the eye icon to open a preview panel showing the document image with its posting (coding) rows below it.
  • If the row has no attached document, you will see “There are no linked documents”.
  • Use the Previous / Next arrows to move through the list without closing the panel.
  • Click Open for editing to open the voucher, invoice or draft in its edit view. When you are done, you return straight to the reconciliation view.
  • The panel can be moved and resized, and it remembers your size and position the next time you open it.
  • Drafts can be previewed here too.
  • images can be hovered over or clicked to pin. Here as well, the panel can be moved and resized.

The preview is read-only. To make changes, click Open for editing and update the document in its edit view.

See coding rows and document previews on matched rows

For rows that are already matched (the lists lower down), you can now review them without leaving the page.

  • Each matched row has a preview icon (an eye) that expands its coding rows inline — the same way as in Incoming documents. Click it again to collapse them.
  • Hover over a matched row’s document icon to preview the attached document.
  • Above each matched list there is a Preview all coding rows checkbox — one for matched invoices and one for matched vouchers/journals. Tick it to expand the coding rows for every row in that list at once.
