Under Register - Chart of Accounts - Budget you can enter a budget per account and per cost center.
Note: Only the active accounts are shown here.
Here you can choose to distribute the budget over the various cost centers by ticking the checkbox as shown below:
To register a budget for an account, click on the account in the list.
Enter an annual budget in euros (EUR).
You can then distribute the amount over the months in several ways:
- Click on the Distribute button to distribute the amount evenly over the months.
- Click on the Amount button to enter a specific amount or change the distribution for specific months in the Amount column.
- Click on % to specify the percentage allocation of the budget that specific months should have. The percentage is entered in the % column.
Save when done.
If you have chosen to distribute the budget over different cost centers, you must do this for each cost center. For accounts where the budget doesn't need to be specified by cost center, enter the amount under Unspecified.
