When the Vero-integration is active, you can submit your VAT reports online and your certificates will be automatically renewed by Briox.
Important! Only individuals with sufficient rights can create certificates. We recommend assigning this task to someone who is an authorised signatory for the company.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO BRIOX ACCOUNTING PARTNERS:
The certificate issued directly to an Accounting partner and installed in a Briox Client Manager account, is valid to submit VAT reports from client accounts, as long as the authorisation rights have been granted correctly in the Incomes register / Vero service.
More information on setting up the rights can be found from:
In practice, this means that the Briox system checks which client accounts are connected to your client manager account and automatically uses the certificate that was issued for the accounting partner account when sending VAT reports. There is therefore, no need to fetch separate certificates for your client accounts, unless it is otherwise required and/or agreed upon to cooperate with the customer.
Pick up your certificate from Vero:
Steps:
- Go to My Tax and login to order a production Certificate: https://www.vero.fi/en/About-us/it_developer/certificate-service/
- Click on Order a new Certificate
- Fill in the following information:
-
Click on the new certificate to fetch it.
- Retrieve the certificate. The Transfer Code (TransferID) and One-Time Password (TransferPassword) will be sent to the specified email. A one-time code sent via SMS is required to open the email.
- In Briox, go to Settings - Accounting - Vero Online Integration and enter the Transfer Code (TransferID) and One-Time Password (TransferPassword) you received.
Click on Activate Integration.
Briox generates a private key and retrieves a certificate from Vero. The entire process is automated.
Automatic Certificate Renewal
When the certificate approaches the end of its validity period, we automatically renew it based on the permissions associated with the previous certificate.
This automatic renewal takes place when there are fewer than 55 days remaining before the certificate expires.
Activate online VAT reporting:

- Go to Reports - VAT report.
Under the header Vat submission, activate the switch Enable online VAT submission.
- If you have not already activated the integration, click on the link Settings for Vero Online integration to go to the Settings page.
