Next, you must build up your item registry under Registry - Items. Register as items the services you offer with the same sales price, for example: training courses, consultancy work and support. If you want you can even register mileage, expenses and travel time, as items (with a sales price).
If you have a service with different pricing for different customers, then you have two alternatives: you can register an item for each price, or you can link different price lists to different customers in the customer registry.
- Go to Registry - Items and then click on Add Item as shown in the picture below.
The item registry will be empty if this is your first time in the application.
- Enter as much information as possible on the customer registry form. The Item No. and Description fields are mandatory and need to be completed before saving. Keep in mind that the more information you enter from start, the less you need to enter each time you add a new quote/order/invoice. The customer details can be edited or more details can be added at any time.
- Click on Save when you are ready.
You will now be able to see the item under Registry - Items. This item is now available for you to use while creating quotes, orders and invoices.
